Teriparatide is a medication used to treat osteoporosis in certain patients. It is a synthetic form of parathyroid hormone (PTH), which is naturally produced in the body and plays a role in regulating bone metabolism.
Teriparatide is a thyroid hormone (PTH) derivative that can activate bone cell activity, inhibit osteoblast apoptosis, and thereby promote bone formation.
